Did you know that when I first started photography, I wanted to focus on in-home lifestyle family photography? After this session, I just want to say how much of a believer I am of considering a family photo session in your own home. I want more of these! From the moment I walked in, the girls were comfortable and in their element. The little one showed me her favorite ornament on the tree and which one her big sister painted. She ran to show me her toys and described her thoughts when she opened her Christmas presents the day before. There's nothing like being at home with your family, listening to your favorite New York Jazz and Bossa Nova playlists, cozying up on your own sofa, and dancing in your living room with those you love the most, with no other distractions. I'm thankful to not only photograph families, but to go beyond and capture what love feels like for this sweet family. They welcomed me in their home and opened their hearts. For this I am grateful, as well as for all the families who let me in on their love in 2023. It was an honor. Happy New Year!
